This range of imagery was inspired by the 10th anniversary of slipknots Iowa album. For this I chose to look at using gas masks that I had which were a Russian and English mask. I chose to use the scanner to distort the imagery, making the photo's more distorted. I also initially chose to use the kiln in which i place metal, objects for example nails in between glass. Giving a distorted and grunge style, which could be used as a possible back drop for the digital work. I later chose to design a album cover which used this imagery and related to a grunge design aesthetic.
